I am wondering if a company would bother sending you out for a drug test before you background tests were complete. I had two interviews and then signed a paper saying they could do a background test. About 5 days later they contacted me via email asking me to take a drug test, does this mean I passed the background test? My driving record and criminal record are good, credit no so much, but think they wouldn't waste their time sending me for a drug test if something in there was not good? Does this mean I have passed all of those checks?

Get vomit smell out of car?

I just got my first car, I am very happy with it. It's a 2005 is300 for you curious ones. I got a pretty good deal on it, bad thing is has a vomit smell. It is not unbearable, but it's still there. In my state, missouri, used dealerships, even with as is, have to warranty it up to 3 months or 1k miles. They like to put "as is" on a vehicle, so a buyer assumes they wont fix problems, kinda like the dump trucks that put "not responsible for windshield damage"....They are!

What exact front and rear differential does my Ford Explorer have?

I have a 1996 Ford Explorer XLT 4x4, Automatic, 4.0L V6, and I've got a slight oil leak from the front differential's pinion seal. This isn't particularly concerning to me, given its long and healthy life so far of 214,000mi. However, I plan to rebuild the differential and replace the seal in the upcoming weeks, and figured that I may as well at least drain and refill the rear differential as well. (Ford says not to check or drain the rear unless a problem is suspected, however after 200k+ miles, I think a little peek and some fresh oil is in order.) Problem is: I have been presented with a few options (by Auto Zone) as to which rebuild kit to buy. For the front, I have the option of the Dana/Spicer 28 or Dana Spicer 35 front axle. For the rear, I have the option of the Dana/Spicer 35 or the Ford 8.8" ring gear. Can someone perhaps help shed some light on this subject, and inform me (based upon the information provide above) as to which front and rear differential I actually have/need to buy the rebuild kit for? Why does my 1987 honda prelude squeak?

I have a 1987 honda prelude that is carbuarated and its automatic transmission. Every time I step on the accelerator something from the engine sqeeks really loud. I've had my timing belt, power steering belt, and water pump changed last year. It happens when I rev the engine while in park and when I am in D4 (normal driving) when I come from a dead stop all the way up to second gear. After that, the squeak subsides until I have to start from a dead start.

I failed my driving test yesterday because the lady marked a Critical Driving Error. It was marked as a "Dangerous Manuever" and in the comments it said that this was for not looking over my shoulder while going into the left turn lane at the stoplight (twice). I know that looking over your shoulder is a must when changing lanes, but while going into a turn lane where no one should be driving over there until the dividing line curves out, I do not see the reason for me to fail because of that. The Critical Driving Error section is an automatic fail if one I marked, I do not think I should've failed for that. I understand points docked, but automatic fail? I would've passed because I only had 5 other things marked. Can they really fail me for this?

What could be the cause of clunk sound from front end of my car?

I have a 2002 Chevy Cavalier. I noticed the sound seemed to start about 3 days ago. It happens when I shift into reverse and sometimes while turning a corner. It doesn't happen every time I shift into reverse or turn corners. My friend thought she could feel something move under her feet on the passenger side when the noise occurred. I took to repair shop and they put my car up and looked underneath. They said the bushings were bad and thought that would fix the clunk. When I got the car back I put in reverse to leave and there was no clunk, but next time I used the car and put it in reverse I heard the clunk. Any suggestions on what it might be and possible cost to repair? I plan to take back but would like ideas what it might be. (This may have nothing to do with the problem, but couple months ago I had to have my car towed from my garage because lock cylinder went bad. They couldn't get car out of gear so they hooked a chain underneath the back of the car and dragged it out of the garage.) Thanks for your help.

I get random static problems with GarageBand?

I record Let's Plays for YouTube, and I'm a mac user, so I use GarageBand for the commentary (live commentary by the way). Each video is about 15 minutes long. Why do I have so much trouble downloading game updates for PS3?

I only have trouble with my PS3 internet connection when I'm trying to download updates, either for the system or for games like DC Universe Online. I can get signed in, I can access the Playstation store, I can access Netflix. But whenever I try to download the automatic updates, it'll give me 1%, then the time remaining just keeps on climbing. I've been able to get updates, but it honestly just feels like, at those times, I just lucked out and it downloaded. 97 chev k1500. Automatic. The tranny started running up to higher rpms and speed before it will shift into the next gear. Just as if I was putting my foot down hard on the gas. Moving the gear shift doesn't change what the tranny does. Doesn't "seem" to be slipping. Checked the fluild, a little low... topped it off and ran it awhile, still doing the same thing. 99 intrepid strange noise/ knock no start?

I have a 99 intrepid with a 2.7 v6. Started it up which it has always had to crank just longer than normal, it started fine but was making knock noise almost like low oil. I drove to gas station which is less than a mile away. I was afraid to drive fast cause noise did get louder going faster and when I got to gas station it sounded almost like knocking/rubberband almost breaking noise. I turned car off and checked oil, I was 2 quarts low. I added oil and tried to start but it just turns over. When turning over it sounds fine. No lights and no trouble codes. Strange cause engine light was on for 6 months due to catalytic converter being plugged. And now the past week light has magically stayed off and I haven't fixed it. I know a converter could cause it to not run. But make that noise? Serpetine belts good.. any ideas of what it could be? Thank you

I can start the car and it will pull then it will stop pulling. I can get out of the car disconnect the battery and reconnect it immediately get in and start it and it will pull again then the cycle starts over again. Anybody have any ideas about this? My 2003 monte carlo 6 cylinder, is idling at 2k rpms when in park, other problems in post.?

While I'm in park the car idles at 2k rpms. Also when I start driving if I take my foot off the gas pedal it keeps going at the same speed I was going before as if my foot is still on the pedal. When I get into shifting into 2nd sometimes but mostly 3rd gear the car's rpms will start to flutter and it wont shift.

So I changed today from a vodafone sim to a telstra one. I have the sim in and everything and I've called the 1258887 activation number and it said it should be activated so I can receive messages and all in 12 to 24 hours. I told them I wanted to be on the $30 pre-paid cap option. So if I go to buy credit (which I do at a shop when I'm getting food or other stuff because it's just easy to add it on top of whatever else I'm buying), if I just ask for $30 Telstra credit will it automatically put me on the pre-paid cap thing so I'll get the $170 bonus, or will it just be a normal $30 credit?? Sorry if this doesn't make sense I'm just kind of confused and I'm going to get the credit tomorrow.. ??
