Can a non resident canadian claim basic personal amount as a non refundable tax credit?

I worked in Canada from May to October,2010. I am an Indian Citizen.Now time has come for me to file my tax returns. However I am a little confused, on the amount of tax refund, I can get. My question is, can I claim the Basic Personal Amount and the Canada Employment Amount as a non refundable tax credit and reduce my taxes.
